Almost every religion to ever exist has agreed that in the beginning, things happened. What these things were and how they happened, who did them and why –those are under constant debate, as is when this beginning actually took place. Nevertheless, another constant is the fact that these beginnings occur as a footnote to a larger story: that they, themselves, are never of enough interest or importance to mandate their own focus.
Here, we follow the beginning alone, from the first moment to the last, as a world is built. We see how gods and humans first met one another and shared the same stories, fires, and food. We see how Life and Death became the best of friends. We see how the dwarves are made. We see how the son of Life brought magic into the world. We see how the gods are creators, before anything else, and ones who only wish to see their creations flourish.
