Of all the undercover assignments Flynn Benning has been on, this has to be the worst. The retired marine finds himself posing as a history teacher at an all-girls' boarding school in order to solve a cold case. Did one of the teachers at this fine school get away with murder?

Tess Stafford is undercover as well, but for an entirely different reason. She's working in the cafeteria to be close to the daughter who was taken from her thirteen years earlier. Revealing herself would turn the girl's life upside down so she's content, for now, just to be close.
