When Girly Chew met Diazien Hossencofft while on vacation in the United States, she was instantly swept off her feet. It was the early 1990s, and the Malaysian-born Chew was exploring SeaWorld when she bumped into Hossencofft, a thoracic surgeon with multiple degrees from prestigious universities...By 1993, after a brief courtship conducted through correspondence by mail, the couple had gotten married and were living together in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
