Before the fall of the Berlin Wall and the ultimate demise of the Soviet Union, little was known about the crimes that were committed behind the iron curtain. The law enforcement did their best to keep the information from the western media and paint a picture of a perfect society where murder do not happen. However, one serial killer managed to keep thousands of people on their toes back in 1980s and 1990s. He was known as the Fisher or Boa, and his hunting ground was Odinstovo district which is located in the general Moscow area. The sadistic way of killing and the very fact that he targeted little boys was enough to scare everyone living in that part of the Soviet Union. Fisher's identity was unknown for years and he reached the status of an unpredictable killer who was always one step ahead of the police.
