Billy was a rookie firefighter when he helped deliver Greta's daughter in a field when she and her husband were stranded and couldn't make it to the hospital. Amazingly, they meet once again in the Amish town but this go around Greta is now divorced and the baby is the eight year old Hannah.
Hannah instantly takes to Billy and Greta now finds herself irresistibly attracted to the man who has rescued her twice now. But Billy has a girlfriend and she isn't so keen on her man spending time with a pretty Amish divorce.
Billy soon realizes that Greta and he are met for each other. He breaks it off with his domineering girlfriend, but she has other plans.
