For three and a half years Christina had been missing. Friends, family, and even strangers would gather every Saturday to search for in their small town in North Texas. Just before 10 am, on the 7th of March 2018, the remains of a woman were found by construction workers clearing trees for a housing development in Anna, Texas. The remains were found on the east side of a creek on a hillside just about fifty yards from Taylor Boulevard. The area was closed for three days to allow the authorities to collect evidence.
The field where the remains were found was just one of a few areas that have been checked multiple times by volunteers and authorities. The secluded area that is only accessible by car had a dirt road with ditches. Despite the discovery of the body, a lot of questions still linger. Did the crew really do a thorough job? Did the recent heavy rains impede the immediate discovery? Did her killer bury her?
