Tammy Holman was married to Larry but now she wanted a new man in her life - Tim Smith. Simply divorcing or leaving Larry was not a good enough solution. She also wanted custody of her children, and she knew that this could be difficult if she was seen as the cause of their break up. At the very least, custody would be joint, but she wanted sole control of her kids. And, of course, there were two large insurance policies which would set her up for life. With divorce not an option, she saw other means of accomplishing her goal of keeping the kids and getting the money...Larry had to die.
