More than 24 different brands of Ginkgo extract are sold in the United States. In Europe, Ginkgo leaf extract EGb 761® is a registered drug for the treatment of age-related cognitive decline, including memory and concentration problems. Clinical studies have demonstrated effectiveness of Ginkgo extract in a wide range of health problems associated with cerebrovascular insufficiency.
