Two television movies about her story have been produced, Belinda Van Krevel would be imprisoned to asking her boyfriend Keith to kill her father with a tomahawk. She said her father was molesting her daughter and also blamed him for the imprisonment two weeks earlier of her brother, Mark Valera. Belinda would then attack another boyfriend, stabbing him numerous times in the throat.
