Annabelle is not doing too well in life. She has worked hard in college and got the job of her choice but something is still missing. Her boss notices the unease in her and advises her to take a vacation. An adopted child, Annabelle has always been curious about her birth mother. She decides to take a journey to the Amish community that was her last known address in order to confront the woman who had given her up so long ago.
