Twenty years after the events of Prince of

Storms, Bargokk's daughter Isolethus has

returned to the Frozen Isles to live with

her birth father and harness her shifting

abilities. But a tragic turn of events forces

her back to Dreueth where she left behind

a boy she'd promised her heart to and with the

rumors of his promiscuity less than secret, she

fears he has forgotten their pact.

Robertson, now a man, has lived his life pining

for the young woman he pledged his love to at

the age of fifteen. since she left, Now a seasoned

blacksmith, he fills his time providing the king's

army with adequate weaponry. but when

Isolethus suddenly returns, he realizes he never

stopped loving her, but he isn't so sure she feels

the same.

Meanwhile, the king of a neighboring land wishes

for his daughter to marry Dreueth's ruler to

create an alliance, and a dispute between the

princess and Isolethus sparks a chain of events

that alters the course of history forever.
