An anthology of pulp fiction headlined by "Harsh Life". Aaron returned to his small town full of emotional and physical wounds suffered during the Gulf War. He finds out, however, that his town isn't a safety net from violence as a sniper begins terrorizing the residents. He's recruited by the local law enforcement to aid in the investigation but finds out that some childhood friends may be involved in the killings. Can he put old loyalties aside and see the people he once revered for what they are?
