For as long as April knew poetry, it had grown on her as a way of expression, an artistic approach towards a better understanding of the human psyche. She has been writing poetry for the better part of her adolescence, discovering herself and what it means to be part of an ever changing reality, bringing her closer to the roots of her beliefs and potentialities.
April's poetry taps into a roaring surge of emotions. The inspiration was derived from various life stations and aspirational figures. The artistic push came from bright poets and musician such as Lana Del Rey, Halsey, Taylor Swif, and many other artists.
Seasons started as an idea and was coined later on after a massive volume in poems that were too good not to be arranged into one book that would consequently dive into the general idea of seasonal change. Just like what the book refers to, the author strived to revamp the alteration of seasons and link each one to a specific cadence in the echoing of her life, stories of love and fear, success and step backs, glory and heartbreak. The diversity of these tales served as the perfect portrayal of what the author had in mind.
April marched to heaven for as long as it takes to fly from the Moon to Saturn.
