The Lost Lines series documents a lost age of steam-train travel which
thrived from the mid-19th century to the early 20th century. The railway linking Shrewsbury to Chester has been serving the communities along its length since 1848, as well as being, for over a century, a key component of the Great Western Railway's main line from the Mersey to London.

Mae cyfres The Lost Lines yn dogfennu oes golledig y trenau ager llewyrchus rhwng canol yr 19eg ganrif a dechrau'r 20fed ganrif. Mae'r rheilffordd a gysylltai Amwythig a Chaer wedi gwasanaethu cymunedau'r ardaloedd hynny ers 1848, ynghyd รข bod yn rhan allweddol o brif linell y Great Western Railway o Lannau Merswy i Lundain am dros ganrif.
