Según los autores, existen TRES PERSPECTIVAS DENTRO DEL MARXISMO EN RELACIÓN A LA TEORÍA DEL ESTADO: LA ESTRUCTURALISTA, LA INSTRUMENTALISTA Y LA HEGELIANO – MARXISTA. Más que ser mutuamente excluyentes, cada una de ellas enfatiza un aspecto específico de la cuestión.
