Imagine that an interplanetary corps of nonhuman beings came to planet earth and dictated 1,153,000 words, over two thousand pages, about the history of the planet, the nature of God and reality, the purpose of evolution, the destiny and nature of man, and the life and teachings of Jesus of Nazareth. Apparently something like this actually did happen in the early 1930s in Chicago, Illinois. The papers so produced were published as The Urantia Book in 1955.
