A young couple, Dave and Tracey Symington, live in the mountains of N.C. She is a fitness instructor and he is a university history teacher. They are well off financially due to his parents leaving him a few million dollars after their horrific deaths. They decide on a vacation to Charleston, S.C. where Dave surprises her with a beach home. Their adventure begins after the closing on the property when Tracey is kidnaped by not so friendly German investors who are looking for a hidden treasure somewhere in the house. Neither of them have any idea where or what the treasure is. Frustration sets in for Dave when the Germans think he's holding back on turning the treasure over. He enlists the help of former and present military friends and acquaintances who go after the Germans and the rescue of Tracey. Tensions boil on both sides of the dilemma as each party is trying to get what they are after.
