The heart response many have toward worship is characterized more by yawning than yearning. Perhaps this is true because these people have never experienced the worship described in the Bible. Instead, they have found themselves stranded in the outer court, stuck with protocols having more form than force. They may want God to make them into a fervent worshiper, but nothing in their past experience, or on the present horizon, gives them any hope at all this is going to happen. So, pursuing an agenda where hope becomes reality, this book examines each component of worship with the goal of transitioning the believer from being a spectator to becoming a practitioner of true worship.
