The Beggar's Lucky Coin, a supernatural horror story by Bruce Allsman
When an avid coin collector, Datuk See Khor Jee, finds an old and rare coin in the begging bowl of Old So Chan, a beggar at a Taoist temple in Air Itam, Penang, he swears to have that coin, at any price. Old So Chan, however, refuses to sell his lucky coin. Driven by greed, Datuk See persuades Kwan Sook Im, his lovely young wife, his reluctant partner in crime, to help him steal the beggar's lucky coin, only to find themselves in an unbelievable predicament and must face minatory consequences when the beggar finds out and retaliates, causing them to lose more than just their wealth.
