This is the story of a fictional young girl who developes crushes upon her school coaches and uses her talent as a mile runner to draw closer to them. When her speed becomes fast enough for olympic competition then matters become more serious - both with her training and with the coach with whom she has fallen in love! While she had thoughts of seducing these men she succeeded in doing no such thing; however, her mother spoiled her plans and married the coach that she adored the most. It really was for the best in the long run.
