The contents are non fiction and deal in the first part of the book with the authors real life experiences encountered from 1937 to 1968 in Germany and from 1969 till now in Australia.

Rita writes freely about and describes in her own words and way the events leading up to her becoming involved in spiritualism and how it helped her to cope with the tragic and untimely loss of their son.

The first section of the book deals with topics like:

Rita's childhood during the WW II and in East Germany, fleeing from the Russians to West Germany and meeting her husband.

How becoming involved in living a spiritual way of life, helped her to cope with her trials and tribulations during a very traumatic period of her life.
