This dark fantasy novel follows Dan John (DJ) a person conflicted by his past and thrust into a battlefield that becomes hell itself, fighting himself and demonic entities. He tussles with reality, trying to cling to his humanity and guided by lust, he somehow finds love and family amidst the chaos, through worlds he could have never imagined. Still, he slowly becomes the thing he desperately tried not to be as he is betrayed and manipulated by those closest to him. Twisted by all this anguish, he painfully yet joyfully accepts his quiddity in the end. A must read for those who want a break from the conventional.
