Is it hard for you to wait, to trust, to accept help?
Do you feel like it's all up to you?
Join the club-you're not alone!
You've likely felt the stress from life being unstable, unpredictable, and uncontrollable. There's a temptation to take hold of the reins, white-knuckle your way through life, and strive for a happy ending.
But what if it wasn't all up to you? What if you had a Helper, someone who follows through on their word and who doesn't want to take from you but rather give to you?
Whether you consider yourself to be an atheist, a spiritual person, a prodigal, or a Jesus fanatic, God is offering the same invitation to everyone: Can I Be Your God? You will walk away from this book
Will you accept God's invitation to you?
If so, don't bring any gifts, but instead, get ready to receive.
Additional Description: 'Can I Be Your God?' is comprised of 15 chapters in which each chapter title God asks the reader another question. The book takes the reader on a relational journey, similar to that of a first date to marriage. The tone is personal and intimate. The author speaks directly to the reader and towards the end of each chapter is a section called 'God's Heart to You' where God speaks to the reader in an relatable way. Each chapter ends with an invitation from God, encouraging the reader to pause, reflect, and respond to the question. The end of the book concludes with an Application Guide where there are additional questions relating to each chapter to ponder on and help you process trials or situations you may be going through in your personal life. This can be done individually, in a mentorship relationship, or in a group discussion setting. 'Can I Be Your God?' gets to the heart of your relationship with God and challenges one to get off the fence and start believing he is 'being' your God.
