Countries no longer exist. Neithe does freedom

Burdened by the needs and demands of an over-populated

world, President-For-Life Gabrielle LaRue orders Gov

Star Naval Command to initiate war preparations against

a planet called Liberty, which was terraformed and colonized

centuries earlier by freedom-lovers, who saw the writing-on-the-wall

and fled Earth, as the Gov was rising-to-power.

Captain Sean Hardy, outwardly a loyal officer,

but inwardly, a rebel who hates the Gov and

yearns to see it overthrown, is awarded

a newly-commissioned, state-of-the-art starship

called Red Star One, which was created for

one sole purpose: to flag-ship the fleet

on the day of Liberty's invasion.

During their shakedown cruise, Sean, and

his loyal bridge-crew, set Red Star One

on-course for Liberty: not to invade her,

but to defend her from the impending

invasion.
