A murder mystery set at the end of history, a man struggles to begin his day while haunted by the memory of his dead wife. Without the intuitive truth of his wife's input, he struggles to use reason, but succeeds in doing so only unreasonably. He attempts to be logical, but ends up using logic to reach illogical ends. His attempts to be rational have only irrational results.
