This book of haiku was written as a way to anonymously allow the reader a look into some of the interactions between a Jungian psychotherapist and his patients, friends and family over many years of practice. These haiku represent a lifetime of thoughtfully collected private dilemmas, stressful situations and shared moments of insight. By giving examples of the things that lead people to seek psychotherapy, it is my hope that the reader gains some understanding of the process. By becoming familiar with these experiences they might seek psychotherapy themselves or recommend it to others. Mental illness should not be a condition to be suffered through alone, now more than ever.
