With Endsville burned to the ground Jesmond Drake hoped his problems would be over, but the town continues to cast a baleful influence over the townsfolk of Ash Point.

Deputy Cartwright fears that some people connected to the horrific events in Endsville are still alive and that Sheriff Boswell could be one of those men. So the deputy tasks Jesmond with either proving the sheriff's innocence or killing him leading to Jesmond embarking on his most dangerous ever mission.

When Jesmond finally unmasks the guilty he will once again have to confront the evil of Endsville, except this time the difficult choices he will have to make are personal.
