It's summer, and Kelby can't wait to grow up and start doing what all the cool kids are doing: wear makeup, go to concerts, and spend more time with her friends than with her family. So when her parents propose a family vacation, Kelby resists. But one morning, when she unexpectedly wakes up in an unfamiliar house with a family she doesn't recognize at first, she realizes she's been transported back in time to when her dad was a kid – and that she'll be joining her dad's family on their vacation! As she spends time in this new world, she begins to learn what family time means to her dad – and starts to appreciate her own family and where she comes from.
