The novel, set in rural Bihar and Mumbai, is the beautiful journey of two girls—Jannat Kapoor, a carefree bird of high-class society and Nia Sharma, a caring person from the middle-class society who falls in love and breaks all the stereotype rules and regulations of society.  A story about ISHQ .

 Generally, when we get hurt, we say ISHHH. And ISHQ is another name for love. We are living in a society where there is no ISHQ without pain. So pain and love are somewhat related. ISHH+Q=ISHQ. "Isliye dard ka doosra naam ISHQ." The two girls found relief in this pain named ISHQ.
