Mary Theresa McDonough
B.A. B.Ed. OCT is a wildlife
photographer who has travelled
extensively throughout many wilderness area
throughout the world. This time she has captured
the essence of the true wilderness habitats of the
animals in the African nations of Kenya and Tanzania
and has noted their trusting nature with humans in
her close-ups, in a country that doesn't allow any
hunting by humans.
She has cofounded her own survival program in Canada called Project Whitewater whereby adolescents were allowed to coexist with nature and its inhabitants and she has noted that in all of her experiences in the wilderness she has rarely experienced danger.
As a teacher she strives to impart the value of recognizing the beauty and nobility of all creatures and the importance of preserving and protecting them at all costs.
