Abby Anderson the sheriff of Digger's Cove is looking forward to a good weekend. Things are quiet in town. She is going to spend time with her girlfriend Merry Jo. They have decided to officially move in together. She is up for re-election but Abby is not really worried about that. Then Earl Hicks up and gets himself killed.
