This publication provides an overview of the legal practice of seizure and overindebtedness in 12 countries of the European Union in the format of separate country reports.
Each country report systematically addresses the following issues:
Baron Kring's comparative contribution analyzes the similarities and differences between the various European systems.
The contributions are written by national experts distinguished in the field of civil procedural law. Contributions are written in either English, French or German, and are followed by summaries in both remaining languages. In addition, extensive bibliographies will enable the reader to find material for further study.
Seizure and Overindebtedness in the European Union is the first book in a new series entitled Civil Procedure in Europe, edited by Professor M. Storme of the University of Ghent and Professor P. Meijknecht and Mr. C.H. van Rhee of the University of Utrecht (Molengraaff Institute for European Private Law).
