Size. In the 2010s, the GDP of Central Asia was equal to $301.6 billion per year; the value of agriculture was $33.5 billion; the value of industry was $86.0 billion.

Productivity. In the 2010s, the gross domestic product per capita was $4 439.5, the value of agriculture per capita was $492.5, the value of industry per capita was $1 266.1. Since the productivity is between the average of below average and the average, the economy is classified as developing.

Growth. In the 2010s, the growth of GDP was 5.5%; the growth of agriculture was 4.2%; the growth of industry was 4.8%.

Structure. In the 2010s, the economy of Central Asia consisted of: industry (30.6%), services (26.3%), trade (14.0%), agriculture (11.9%), transportation (10.1%), and construction (7.0%).

Exports and imports. In the 2010s, the exports were 29.1% higher than the imports, the net exports were equal to 8.7% of the GDP.

Consumption and reproduction. The attitude of reproduction to the consumption is better than the global average, so the share of GDP in the world will increase.
