Our Lord often referred to himself as the Son of man. That is often bypassed
as a simple sign of modesty. In reality, however, this characterization is indeed a major stepping stone in our attempt to feel and conceive to a small extent the full significance of Jesus of Nazareth, our Lord, the Μessiah.

Our Lord was indeed a perfect man. However, a perfect man is a man with weaknesses, inner struggles, and even occasional shortcomings. Even though our Lord expressed His deep connection with our Heavenly Father and Creator in many passages by revealing Himself as spiritual light, the truth, the path, and the life, He also had a human aspect. He faced temptation, fear, disappointment, rage, and every other human feeling that guides our nature. He was the absolute expression of divinity expressed by and through the human condition's full emotional spectrum.
