Jonus Stone is sent to Buckingham Palace on a case that is frankly beneath him. Her Majesty Queen Victoria wants him to find her missing daughter. Jonus wants to prove that it is a waste of his time and expertise.

As it turns out, the princess isn't difficult to find, but she brings with her a disturbing story which, if true, is something that Jonus should be very concerned about.

Jonus and the princess work together, but there are those in the palace who would see them both dead before allowing their secret to be revealed.

If they fail then it won't just be their lives that are in danger... no one will be safe.
