"A Jury of Her Peers" is a short story by Susan Glaspell, adapted from her one-act play "Trifles" exploring a murder mystery. The detectives trying to solve the crime are two women, making it one of the first pieces feminist detective fiction. It targets the vainglorious and absent-minded decisions of men, and highlights female's psychology and powerfulness of feeling. It is a crime and mystery short story that is both fast-paced entertaining, a must read.
