While Kelly Marion is patiently waiting to land her dream job as a school teacher, she's working as a server at the Sunningdale Golf and Country Club in London, Ontario where she lives since coming here for university. That was until her so-called friend and co-worker accused her of stealing, resulting in an immediate termination.

Now, unemployed, her bank account is spiralling down at record speed, AND if that wasn't enough to deal with, her almost twenty year old car died on her way home one day.

The only bright light is the hunky tow truck driver named Trevor. He is unbelievably nice when he doesn't charge Kelly the full cost of the tow in exchange for homemade cookies.

Trevor is Kelly's knight in shining armor when he volunteers to drive her to and from her new job while her car's at the garage. She'd love to get to know him better but Randy, her one-time boyfriend becomes obsessive and dangerous to the point where he holds Kelly hostage in her own home.

Kelly prays with each passing day, Trevor will save her once again before it's too late and she becomes another of Randy's victims.
