In this latest Mike Malone Mystery, Mike finds that an ex-colleague is proving to be a silent victim and refusing to give him any information that will allow him to apprehend her tormentors. He and his faithful Detective Sergeant, Alan Shepherd, are frustrated because they see the attacks escalating and have no idea what the reason behind them is.
