This short book considers the school days of our children. The years

at school pass so quickly and yet they have such a profound influence

on their lives later on. The importance of considering and being

fully aware of what in fact is happening during a 'normal' school

day is underlined.

In the various chapters the author talks about school bags, mobile

phones, wet days, dry days, the school buildings, the colour schemes,

space, desks, teachers, methods of instruction, our children's friends.

He looks at our children's capabilities, habits, gifts and intelligence

and the meaning of success. The many outside influences that impinge

on our children's lives are also exposed.
