As Christians, we are well acquainted with the concept of sin. Sin is more than a wrongful action. Sin can exist as intent or even an emotion within us, misdirecting our existence and leading us to forfeit our natural goodness without realizing it. One cannot help but wonder by what criteria man is judged before God.
Throughout the New Testament, one encounters symbolisms such as wolfs in sheep's clothing, lost sheep, goats, and so on. All this might seem simple, yet under this imagery, significant meaning is hidden. It has to do with reclaiming our soul and identity as beloved creations and children of the Lord and a whole restructuring or, more accurately, rebirth on a spiritual level.
We need to reattain the proper values natural to our inner existence yet distorted on the material level and cultivate our inner discernment to assess our being's and that of others quality and essence, measuring with the proper measure.
