Walking away from Scarlett was the hardest thing I've ever done. I convinced myself it was what was best for her. Best for me. However just the slightest hint that she's in danger gives me the excuse I need to bring her back to the club and into my life once more. I know I hurt her but I underestimated how much and how stubborn she is. She's made protecting her a full-time job and winning her back near impossible.
But I know she cares. That's enough. For now. What matters is keeping her safe.
I have to believe I can.
And I will.
Even if it means sacrificing every damn thing I've worked for in this life.
Even if it means losing her forever.
