Fate doesn't take kindly to broken promises.

After an extremist group called the Spring overthrows the king and queen of Hiedos, Hiedean god Larai grants Silan Baridu magic to save the kingdom. Only the Chosen One can save Hiedos, but Silan refuses. His sister Aurie steps up and promises Larai that she will defeat the Spring instead.

With the help of a growing rebellion, Aurie works to resist the Spring's regime, but how can she defeat them without Silan's magic? She needs to figure something out fast. Because if Aurie can't keep her promise, then she—and Hiedos—will be in even more danger.
