Previously published as At the End of a Storm is a Golden Sky, (see reviews at the start of this edition) this book now has a new prologue and epilogue and cover. It includes 12 in-depth interviews with world-famous celebrities who have gone through dark, troubled times, in terms of drug abuse, alcohol abuse, the death of family members, loss of wor., despair and even thoughts of suicide. But who nonetheless, have endured and in some cases had epiphanies.
It also includes a fragment of autobiography, titled A Song for My Mother, which describes the roots of my own desire to at least try to tell stories that lift peoples' spirits. I very much believe in Carl Jung's quote '"As far as we can discern, the sole purpose of human existence is to kindle a light in the darkness of mere being." This book was revised to try to help people - even myself - keep their spirits high during a global pandemic. However, it is designed to be read during all kinds of troubled times.
