Jake, an attractive, fit man, in his 40s, in a not so startling job, is an idealist and romantic: More capitalist than socialist; right than left wing. Morals questionable, to the many, but his heart is in the right place, even though not understood nor appreciated, even by those close to him. For almost all his life he has had dreams, desires, wants, needs, wishes ... to live a different life (but he is no Walter Mitty).

His wishes have a similar end, but the means to that end have gone through many changes. Those in Heaven have been watching him. And the story stars at the time when an angel, Provider 97-219, comes to grant Jake his wish.

But in his life is another 'angel', Miko. Very smart, vivacious and beautiful.

Will one or both be Jake's true aeon? Will both grant him his wishes?
