In Ripples, Mossy Creek is gearing up for the Christmas holiday in a big way, but crime is trying to put a damper on its festive spirit.

The first week in December starts out with a domestic dispute and an arrest for disturbing the peace. The couple involved ends up spending the night in separate cells.

When a bully attacks a co-worker in the middle of the day in the company breakroom, Maggie, Wyatt, and their crew dig in to find the motive, and apprehend the culprit.

Their strategy doesn't go as smoothly as hoped.

The ripple-effects of that initial encounter reach further and are wider than anyone anticipated.

A body is found behind The Lumberyard.

And who stole Toby Walker's bat?

It's not all bad. In point of fact, there is more good stuff than criminal craziness going on. Baby showers, Christmas parties, community tree trimming, the Christmas Eve service, new people, new couples, new friends.

Mother Nature adds in her two cents by keeping her winter coat thick and heavy then throws out a wicked slap shot to end the year.

Come on in and get comfortable. The woodstove is toasty warm. Maggie's waiting with hot chocolate, cookies, and all the nitty-gritty about what's going on in Mossy Creek this Christmas.
