Sit Or Stalk? • TO ME DEER HUNTING MEANS GOING INTO THE WOODS AND FINDING TRAILS. I’M STILL A STUMP SITTER AS THAT’S ALL IT TAKES. I AGREE COMPLETELY THAT IT IS SO BORING SEEING PEOPLE SIMPLY PULLING THE TRIGGER IN A BOX BLIND AT A DEER STANDING IN AN OPEN, GREEN FOOD PLOT. THE IDEA IS TO HAVE FUN, SO I WON’T BASH PEOPLE FOR HUNTING HOW THEY CHOOSE. BUT FOR ME, I THINK I WOULD FEEL GUILTY SHOOTING A NICE BUCK OUT OF A BLIND. THE SMALLER BUCKS I’M ABLE TO TAKE ARE A HUGE THRILL BECAUSE OF HOW I HAD TO HUNT FOR THEM. SORRY FOR THE LONG LETTER BUT IT’S HARD TO REALLY EXPRESS HOW RELIEVING IT WAS TO READ YOUR PAGE.
