Her memoirs bring to life colorful characters of those days, go back to vacations at the seaside in Jastarnia on Hel peninsula, in Zakopane, the Polish winter capital, and the Masurian Lake District. A series of telephone conversations between the two main characters of the book links the old times with the 21st century. Colin, the dog who hates mobiles, has his word, too.
