Das spannungsreiche Zusammenspiel von Religion und Bildung ist zentraler Gegenstand der Religionspädagogik. Zugleich ist es auch in anderen Wissenschaftsdisziplinen von Bedeutung. Dies ist u. a. der Fall, wenn die neutestamentliche Wissenschaft Jesus als Lehrer, die medizinische Psychologie religiöse Bildung als Ressource oder die Schulpädagogik eine religionssensible Schulkultur in den Blick nehmen. Der Sammelband vereint vor diesem Hintergrund Beiträge aus Erziehungs- und Rechtswissenschaft, Theologie und Religionssoziologie, die sich der Verknüpfung von Religion und Bildung widmen. Er möchte so die Interdisziplinarität bei der Auseinandersetzung mit dem Themenkomplex "Religion und Bildung" verdeutlichen und Anknüpfungspunkte für weitere Forschungsarbeiten liefern. At the same time, it is also of significance in other academic disciplines.
