It is time for the healing to begin

Hurting people hurt people. You can help stop the cycle.

Wounded and oppressed people should be able to come to the church and receive healing. Unfortunately, many of us are like the religious leaders in Jesus' parable of the Good Samaritan, avoiding becoming involved.
In this book, Christian author, former pastor, and conference leader, William F. Johnson, challenges individuals and the church to become intentional about healing. Jesus taught healing to His followers, demonstrated healing, and commissioned them to go out and heal the sick, drive out demons, and preach the good news of the Kingdom of God.

"Healing" is defined as "Wholeness" which includes:

Healing of the body, mind, heart, and soul;

deliverance from oppression and influence of the enemy;

and reconciliation with God.

Each form of healing is described and illustrated from the scriptural accounts of Jesus' healing ministry and the author's personal experience of over forty years in healing ministry in hopes that the reader will be inspired and equipped to become a healer.

Jesus healed people;

Because He had compassion for them

To demonstrate the presence of the Kingdom of God

And to destroy the works of the enemy.

It is just as important for the church to heal for these same purposes. There is still a need to be compassionate, to demonstrate the presence of the kingdom, and to destroy the works of the enemy.

The book includes scripturally based healing models, encouraging readers to become healers and bring wholeness to others.

There is a step by step model for effective healing prayer and a method for deliverance ministry that respects the person receiving ministry.

To heal is to be human.
