Silvery Elms, The Singing Stone is a fantasy novel for 9-12 year olds that tells the story of Anna, an imaginative little girl from Silvery Elms in country New South Wales, who flies with the magical dragon Gadrian to Aartemia to help put the powerful Singing Stone back together, break the binding spell that has kept the Princess Brianna from her true love, defeat the Sorceress and restore a kingdom to its rightful rulers.
One stormy night, the stone dragon at Great Aunt Mary's property comes to life and takes Anna to Aartemia. With help from Elyse the Mermaid and Tilba, leader of all the horses, the friends journey to the Story Keeper, wisest of the Elves, who tells a tale of two brothers and a Sorceress's spell.
Anna uses clues from stories she's been told to solve the riddle of the enchanted fountain and find a magic mirror through which she is able to break the binding spell, defeat the sorceress and change the fate of Aartemia!
